Spaces: The Grounds
The house sits at the end of long sweeping drives bordered by beech hedges, awarding the guests a sense of arrival and privacy. The house is entirely hidden from view of neighbours nestled in 1500 acres of farmland and with 12 acres of garden and arboretum surrounding the building on all sides.
Gardens
The south facing walled garden leading directly from the house has a raised platform above the planted area offering fantastic views from this marquee site measuring 36x12metres. Endless photo opportunities exist all round the garden with architectural and floral backdrops.
Activities
The garden is naturally divided into areas making it ideal for family fun days or team building activities. The combination of waterways, interesting topography, open fields and woodland make excellent areas for archery, remote control vehicles and 4 x 4 driving.
Lighting
Outdoor lighting has been designed and installed by Tim Barker of Event-TM to show off the garden features to best effect. In front of the house and within the walled garden a spectacular, festive approach is guaranteed for all the guests
